Upload main image here: ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hello and welcome to my website! Some of you may know me and some of you may not, so I´ll fill you in a bit on how I arrived at Dundee United. I have been here in Scotland since January. Before I came to Tannadice Park I played for a team in Slovenia called FC Koper. But, after coming here to train for two weeks in December 2007, I had the opportunity to move to the SPL. Dundee said they wanted to keep me and I wanted to experience playing in another country, so I was excited to make the move. I am enjoying it too. It is a good club and a nice place to live. I share a place with another Dundee player, Prince Buaben – he´s a midfielder who joined the club last summer. He is a good flat-mate! I really like living here although it was a big change to start off with. The weather is so different to Slovenia and driving on the other side of the road took a bit of getting used to. But now it is okay and I think of Dundee as my home. All the lads were friendly when I arrived. They made me feel welcome and that always helps to make the move easier. All the people here are nice. The fans as well, they have all been good to me. I made my debut for the club last month. It was against Celtic at Parkhead. It was a big game to make my debut in, so I was very proud to be in the team that day. We did well too; it was good to hold them to a 0-0 draw. I must have done alright because I have played quite a lot since then – throughout March. And now we have five games left. I hope I will play in all of them! The way the team plays really suits my playing style. I am a centre-half normally but I´ve been used as a right-back here. I am comfortable there, so that is no problem. I played one reserve game here and the manager was happy with what he saw, so he kept me there. The biggest difference between the football I was used to in Slovenia and the football in the SPL is that there is much more running involved here. It is harder too – a lot more physical. It was more technical at FC Koper. It is good to experience these different playing styles. You are learning all the time. That´s it for now - thanks for visiting my website. I´ll be keeping you updated on everything that´s happening with me, Dundee and more right here. I hope you enjoy it! ![]() ![]() - 29 Oct 2009 17:32 Do yourself a favour Kova - change you blog so that you mention Dundee United rather than Dundee. Then us Arabs wont take offence and you won´t be associated with that bunch of no-hopers accross the street. Stay cool shed rule! Who´s with me? ![]() |
